Singles Review: Beyoncé – End of Time

Is Beyoncé having a massive swear at the start of this track? Does Blue Ivy need to cover her tender ears? That’s but one of the mysteries of this banger, the other being could this have been the last great Michael Jackson song? It has all the hallmarks of Jackson genius from the booming percussion, skittering beats, snappy verses and more than a fedora tip to Wanna Be Startin’ Something, you can just imagine the set piece city street party choreography.

Although being a Beyoncé track the main focus as always is her honking, building crumbling set of pipes and they’re set to full fierce mode here. She’s blasting the head off anyone in a five mile radius bellowing on in a frankly threatening manner about ‘never letting go’ of her mister….consider yourself warned Jay-Z,  Beyoncé is back and she’s fiercely parading a marching band into your heart whether you have room or not.
